My name is Dan Wagner, and I’m a Long Island wedding photographer based out of Huntington New York. I create beautiful wedding photos to help couples relive, remember, and relish their wedding day. As an experienced and talented Long Island wedding photographer, I know how to make wedding photos quick, fun, and effortless. I believe every bride and groom deserve beautiful wedding photos!
By having me photograph your wedding, you will avoid the here today and gone tomorrow freelance photographers hired by the large wedding studios. That’s because I personally photograph every wedding myself. Accept no substitutes! Even better, my prices are usually lower than the large wedding photo studios'. As the old time western movie actor Walter Brennan used to say, “No brag, just fact!”
Being a Long Island wedding photographer, I’m naturally interested in all the visual arts—movies, painting, sculpture, plays—I love them all. I find that every art form can inspire and inform my photography. That goes for writing, too. Storytelling through photos is something I strive for in my wedding photography. This can be with a single photo, or a wedding album. Capturing photos that tell a story are one of the rewards of being a photographer. My favorite wedding photos are the ones that bring a smile to people’s faces.
How do I Know if a Long Island Wedding Photographer is Good?
Look at the photographer’s work. Try picturing you and your spouse in similar photos.
Do the couples in their photos look happy and relaxed? That’s important!
Good wedding photos should be enjoyable to view, well-composed, and make you want to smile.
Communications with the photographer should be friendly and inspire confidence.
Pricing should be reasonable, and in line with other local wedding photographers.
Recommendations from friends, and good reviews carry weight, too.
