Speed is important, too. That’s why I aim to deliver your wedding photos the week after you get married. I personally process, color-correct, and edit every photo. Best Long Island Wedding Photographer
Many of the Long Island weddings I photograph come my way by word-of-mouth. I love it when I get to photograph multiple weddings from the same family—it means they were happy with the previous weddings I shot for them. When I first started photographing weddings I advertised on wedding vendor sites such as The Knot. What I learned, was that most of the wedding couples I was working with had found me by searching online for “Best Long Island wedding photographer.” To me it doesn’t make sense to spend thousands of dollars advertising, when you could use that money to reduce wedding photo fees and improve service.
As both a Long Island wedding photographer and a web content writer, I figured why not combine my skills and write a wedding photography blog. This way couples searching for a Long Island wedding photographer could easily find me and learn what I had to offer. Even better, I could help couples in other parts of the country make more informed wedding photography choices.

Do I Need a Wedding Photographer Shot List?
Brides and grooms often ask me, “Do I need a wedding photographer shot list?” It’s a great question. As a Long Island wedding photographer, I love this question because it shows that the couple want to help me help them. A wedding photography shot list lets me know which photos are important to them, and why. Knowing the why helps me see the couple as they see themselves. This knowledge provides creative inspiration throughout their wedding day.
Not every wedding photography shot list should be set in stone. During your wedding day, you should feel free to share photo ideas with your photographer. Good wedding shot lists are constantly evolving. I believe that the best wedding photographers enjoy asking the bride, groom, bridal party, and family members if there are any shots they’d like to take. As I drive home after photographing a wedding, it’s nice to know that I gave it my all.

I love photographing Long Island weddings at the Harborclub at Prime, Crest Hollow Country Club, Centerport Yacht Club, Chateau at Coindre Hall, Crescent Beach Club, de Seversky Mansion, Fox Hollow, Larkfield Manor, Mansion at Oyster Bay, Milleridge Inn, Mutton Town Club, Pavilion at Sunken Meadow, Seawanhaka Yacht Club, Three Village Inn, Water’s Edge, Watermill Caterers, Westbury Manor, Willow Creek, and other venues located further away such as the vineyards out east.
